About Us

Black Horse Ice Hockey is a non-profit, self-funded organization with the mission of providing students in the communities under the Black Horse Regional School District the opportunity to compete in the sport of ice hockey at both the high school and middle school levels. We are a member of the USA Hockey organization and our teams and coaches are registered, certified by and comply with all its rules and regulations. Our program not only supports our students in their endeavor to excel in the great sport of ice hockey, it also teaches them the benefits of teamwork, respect and hard work ---- lessons learned that will benefit them, as well as, our community.

Black Horse Ice Hockey is a subsidiary of Highland Youth Ice Hockey Association, Inc. which was established in 1998 as a not-for-profit corporation under the laws of New Jersey. While our organization is primarily funded by player tuition and fundraising initiatives, we also rely on the generosity of individuals and regional businesses to subsidize our ever increasing financial obligations. All funds raised by the club are used to support our student athletes by reducing the individual financial burden for expenses, such as, ice rental, uniform, game officials, and league fees.

On behalf of our Board Members, I would like thank you for your anticipated support.
